If you’re struggling to get Reach from your Facebook Page, its probably tempting to start a Facebook Group. The posts from the Group are less likely to be filtered out of the Facebook timelines of its members. You’ll reach a bigger audience. Yes, Facebook Groups have a lot going for them.
Should you start a Facebook Group for your business?

So, the answer is pretty simple. If you’re a retailer, forget it. No one cares about you. They only care about the products you sell. If you can start a Group based on a niche customer demographic into which your business plays a part, it might be worth a punt.
But if you manufacture products, yes give a Facebook Group a go. You should be seen as the absolute authority on your products and you probably want to build a community around them. Learn more about that philosophy in my guide here.
